Ray Firchau was born and lived in Taylor, Michigan until 1978, then moving to Tucson, Arizona, where he started his career in the window and door industry, spending 25 years at a major window and door company, gaining extensive knowledge and experience, while also living in the cities of Sedona, Cave Creek and Scottsdale, AZ.
In 2002, Ray decided to venture out on his own and started RKF Architectural Products, LLC. which represented Loewen, Windsor and Western window and door manufacturers, with his stores in Scottsdale, Tucson and Flagstaff, AZ, along with Santa FE, NM. In 2009 he sold RKF Architectural Products but retained ownership of the Santa Fe location, renaming it Architectural Windows and Doors LLC; additionally opening the Scottsdale and Chandler, AZ. locations in 2019.
Ray continues to operate AWADLLC, with stores in Santa Fe NM, Scottsdale and Chandler AZ. and over his many years in business, he’s seen many changes in the industry, but the one thing that hasn’t changed is that customers still want good products at fair prices and to be treated with respect. Architectural Windows & Doors continues to highly value respect, courtesy, close attention to detail and customer satisfaction, before, during and after the project is completed, remembering that our customers are the reason we enjoy the success we’ve had for many years.
